10 November 2010 the investors, with the Government of the Republic of Srpska concluded "The Framework Agreement for the development and construction of first-class sports and recreational ski complexes in the mountain Klekovača" which is simultaneously the official start of the date of the project.

The intention of investors is to work together with the Government of the Republic of Srpska to create an environment which would enable tourists to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountainous region, favorable climate, hydrology, flora and fauna and anthropogenic resources.

For the location of the project, due to favorable natural conditions, is selected the mountain Klekovača which is located in the western part of Bosnia Herzegovina, in the area of the Dinarides, with the highest peak Velika Klekovača (1,962 m).

{Of particular importance for the planning and realization of the tourist center Klekovača is the planned construction of the highway Banja Luka - Mliništa a distance of about 210 km (of which 180 km is within BiH), which allow connection to the existing highway Split - Dubrovnik.

In order to facilitate the realization of the concept of sustainable development of tourism in the destination Klekovača, general and certain specific objectives are defined to be achieved by contractors of the project.

TC Klekovača will offer several forms of skiing such as alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, freestyle skiing and snowboarding. Ski slopes at Klekovača will be suitable for all types of skiers, from beginners to competitors.
